Daruma-san had his other eye unfilled for long.. until he met a beautiful Babushka with her four daughters.

Ahh this idea has been in my head for over a year now, so glad to get it out.
I love both japanese rolypoly-dolls (daruma) and russian nestingdolls (matryoshkas) and of course this thought had to cross my mind one day.. it SEEMS random but after I looked some info about both of these, it started to make sense, because Matryoshkas got their inspiration originally from japanese nestingdolls (Fukurama). Russia also has their own rolypolies. (Nevalashka)

Daruma's stomach has a kanji of a desire/wish you want fullfilled. (His says Love.)You make a wish, and plot out a pupil for his eye. Once the wish is fullfilled, you fill in the other pupil.

A-also because I am a hideous nerd, I also had to look up some japanese Language of Flowers (it's different from the western one); Hanakotoba.. his is a hibiscus and it means "gentle". 8___88888
