for ages I wanted to draw another pokémon fanart like this. and since my friend (who is not on dA) draws me a bit too much fanart AND is unhealthily smitten with pokémon, I couldn't resist. this is just one of her teams. :9 this is a bit sloppy aahahd ffg

I hardly notices the Ekans at first though! I was wondering why she had only 5 pokémon in her team. XD

As I'm trying to come up with crits again, uhm, something seems slightly off about the character. Or...not exactly her, but the combination of her and the pokémon. I think it's because your monster designs are so incredible and weird, and then she looks kinda plain? Or maybe it's just her color scheme that makes me think that. HM

EITHER WAY, I can never get enough of your pokémon :heart: Will you draw the second generation as a challenge sometime too? (Like you did with the first?)

Never thought about that. I'm more likely approaching this like drawing them as I see them instead of drawing them "weirder", though XD

We'll see if I have time to draw the second generation next summer, I'm hoping I do though since it was so much fun.

i think the skitty snd flygon's faces made me glow a little inside.
pokemon would probably have faces like that.
